The first question is what the task requires, not which tool is available. AI can support research, synthesis, workflow automation and prototyping. Its value depends on whether it improves the work in its actual context.
Keep evidence and accountability visible.
An automated answer is not verified evidence. Claims need appropriate checking, and consequential outputs need a human owner. This distinction matters when a result informs a decision, a commitment or a public statement.
Build only where it creates durable value.
Proprietary technology makes sense when it creates a repeatable advantage, a useful workflow or a differentiated experience. Otherwise, proven tools may be the better choice. The responsibility remains in how the system is designed and operated.
